Raceline Tip of the Day 15th January
Tuesday 15th January
LORD TOMNODDY
Ffos Las 2.10 WIN
Although there are only three runners in this novices’ chase, it’s still a competitive, tight-knit affair. I like Kim Bailey’s lightly-raced mudlark who, at the age of 11, is finally fulfilling the potential he showed in his younger days when trained by David Pipe. He found 4m too far at Exeter last time but had previously eased to a smooth victory on his seasonal re-appearance in a decent race at Ascot. Today, he takes a welcome break from handicap company and should love both the testing ground and the galloping track.
