Kempton 3.50 WIN

The winner failed to frank the form in a higher-grade race at Newbury on Friday but Godolphin’s two-year-old filly produced a debut performance full of a promise when runner-up in a decent maiden at Salisbury earlier this month.

After tracking the pace, she was shaken up a couple of furlongs out and briefly hit the front before the impressive favourite swept by. Granted normal improvement, she should be good enough to win today, particularly as Frankie Dettori again takes the ride.

As a beautifully-bred daughter of US star Street Cry, she should also have no problems with Kempton’s Polytrack surface, on which her trainer, Saeed Bin Suroor, boasts a superb 33% strike rate.
