The 20-year-old stormed to a dominant win in the second of three races at the famous track, which followed a similar triumph at Brands Hatch two weeks earlier. Now he has moved to joint second in the overall standings, within three points of the series leader, Max Fretwell.

Hide AdFielding finished seventh in the opening race at Donington, but was in pole position for the second and immediately looked the class act of the field in his JHR Developments machine, prepared close to his Chesterfield home.
After building a sizeable lead, his hard work was undone when a collision brought out the safety car, causing a long delay and leaving just seven minutes remaining when the race resumed. But he stayed calm and made a textbook getaway at the restart to win comfortably.
Fielding then picked up more valuable points when finishing fifth in the third race
Considering his 2015 season was blighted by electrical problems, Fielding is delighted by his start to the new campaign, which now moves on to Thruxton in Hampshire on May 7 and 8 and continues until October.
“It was a great result, and we’re developing the car each round, but we have to stay consistent,” he said.
