The 23-year-old, who is unbeaten in his pro career, will be in action on Friday, September 10 at North Notts Arena in Worksop to take on Lancastrian Stephen Jackson, 18 months after Dring’s previous fight in March 2020 saw him overcome Jake Pollard on points in Rotherham.

Dring said: “I can’t wait to step back into the ring, I have trained so hard through lockdown due to being allowed to under the professional status coronavirus regulations.

“I’d especially like to thank my manager and trainer Mike and Jay Shinfield of Shinfield Gym in Somercotes, as well as my sponsors and supporters. I aim to uphold my unbeaten record and fight for titles in the near future to get my name out there and put Chesterfield town on the map.”

There are still limited tickets available for the fight, available through Dring’s Facebook page.
