Chair of DSSA Karen Shopland said: “This has been another great year for school sport in Derbyshire and the awards are a chance to congratulate talented young people in a wide range of sports, celebrate their achievements and encourage them to future success.

“It is also a chance for the DSSA to thank its most dedicated young leaders and ambassadors and adult volunteers who give their time to school sport.”

Pupils attending any school within Derby and Derbyshire are eligible to be nominated, including those who were nominated last year.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Tuesday, October 1 at The County Ground, home of Derbyshire County Cricket Club in Derby.
