Following the arrivals of Connor Dimaio, Gary Liddle and Tom Anderson on transfer deadline day, Spireites fans took to social media to express their views on the club's activity.

Mark White: “Good little player. Will prove his worth. United are stupid about getting rid of his services. Given the chance he would have been a regular 1st team player. But that’s the ambition of our board, sorry did I say ambition I meant the total lack of it. Good luck Dimaio.”
