The 25-year-old has been instrumental in the Spireites’ rise up the National League table since he re-joined the club at the start of December.

McCourt scored his first goal in his second spell at Town in the 6-0 win against Barnet.

His suspension will likely mean that one of Gavin Gunning or Martin Smith will start.

Smith, 25, started the FA Trophy win against Boston United but has not started a league game yet since signing earlier this month.

Gunning, 29, made his debut as a substitute against Boreham Wood, replacing Tom Whelan for the last 20 minutes.
