TRANSFER RUMOURS: Chesterfield FC sign Cardiff City defender
Chesterfield have signed defender Declan John on loan from Cardiff City, according to reports in Wales.
The 20-year-old left-back, who can also operate higher up the field, is said to have joined the Spireites on an initial one-month loan.
He has Premier League experience with the Bluebirds, making 20 appearances during the 2013/14 campaign, in the top flight.
John enjoyed a loan spell at Barnsley last season but has been restricted to just one substitute performance this time around.
