The big talking points from Chesterfield's pre-season win against Tamworth
and live on Freeview channel 276
Rowe notched the opener from six yards out on 10 minutes after a slick passing move involving Jack Clarke, Stefan Payne and George Carline, the latter providing the cross.
The visitors equalised inside the first minute of the second-half when Dan Creaney glanced in a free-kick.

Rowe then turned provider as his chipped cross from the left was accurately headed in by Liam Mandeville with 10 minutes to go.
PERFORMANCE
After two fixtures against League Two opposition, manager James Rowe organised this match so the Spireites could work on their play against a team who would put men behind the ball. No stone left unturned, you could say!
That was exactly how the game panned out as the hosts dominated possession and, at times, it almost looked a bit too easy.

Hide AdIt was an eye-catching move for the first goal as the impressive Clarke played the ball into Payne’s feet on the edge of the box, he fed it out wide to Carline who put it on a plate for Rowe to finish.
Calvin Miller was a constant threat, forcing Tamworth goalkeeper Jas Singh into a save before dragging an effort wide after Clarke sent him clear.
Before half-time Saidou Khan rattled the post from close-range, the ball bounced back out and into the arms of Singh, before Tamworth missed a sitter up the other end.
Creaney’s glancing header for the equaliser was sloppy from a Chesterfield point of view, but they recovered well.

Rowe set up Mandeville for the third before almost completing his hat-trick with one of his trademark thunderbolt free-kicks.
Before full-time, Singh denied Rowley with his legs and then superbly kept out Miller’s volley.
CLASSY DANNY
Two goals here for Rowe takes his tally to four in pre-season.

Hide AdHis link-up play was silky and his radar was definitely working with some pinpoint crossfield passes.
We saw more examples of what he can do from long-range, but the fact both of his goals came from inside the area is more encouraging for me.
SUPER JACK
Another Aston Villa academy graduate named Jack has just gone for £100m this week, and our Jack might bring in a few quid for the Spireites if he carries on like this!
He seems to be playing with a lot of confidence and his inch-perfect pass for Rowe’s second was calm and smooth.

TRIALISTS
Goalkeeper Melvin Minter and the versatile Jim Kellermann returned again, both playing in the second-half.
There was a new face too, an unnamed left-sided centre-half who looked comfortable on the ball, but was not really tested defensively.
