Supporter Paul Goodwin, of the Bridge Inn Blues Away Travel Club, donated a huge £2,000 and fellow fan, Gary Bown, put in £750.

Proud boss Rowe said: “What has happened is truly remarkable.

“It shows how much we are coming together as a club.

“I have honestly never witnessed anything like that since I have been in football since a young lad.

"I am proud to manage a club like this and what we have got to do is make sure the team mirrors the community here. It is a working class community and we have got to make sure we work hard on the pitch and when you get that matched up, anything is possible.

“It is so impressive. It just shows the club is a community club now.

“It is not the monetary value, because I am sure every supporter put in what they could, it is the gesture.

“We can go a long way here, we have got to start believing that we can, and this is the start of that process.”

The tripod will help match analyst, Dan Evans, film training better and easier, the GPS systems will monitor the players’ fitness levels and the interactive board will be used by Rowe when showing the team clips from games.

The equipment has been ordered and Rowe has offered to host an evening at the Technique Stadium to demonstrate how it works once government guidelines allow.

Chairman Goodwin was blown away by people’s generosity.

He said: "It shows that this club has an incredible supporter base, especially considering the past few years. Every club needs its fans to come together from time to time but I have to say that the way you have reacted to this appeal is stunning and emotional.”
