Here are our player ratings from the game...
5. Jamie Grimes 7
Like Williams, caught out by Nevett's pass, which was sublime to be fair, but he didn't let that affect him and he defended the box really well after that. A subtle bit of defending put Mitchell off balance before he pulled the trigger and he headed away a lot of balls into the area. Photo: Tina Jenner
6. Miguel Freckleton 8
He was a soldier. A warrior. A monster. He was strong in the tackle, very aggressive, anticipated things well and was good in possession. Keeps getting better and better. Photo: Tina Jenner
7. Mike Jones 8
We've got Jonesy in the middle! Running out of superlatives to describe his performances at the moment. He read the game so well. He was always there to pinch the ball away from the opposition. He snuffed out so many Rochdale counters. Booked late on - his fifth of the season - so he will be suspended for the trip to Maidenhead United on Saturday. Put your feet up, Mike, you've earned a good rest! Photo: Tina Jenner
8. Tom Naylor 8
He's just a very good footballer. He does lots of subtle things in games that are so clever but vitally important and he did that again at Spotland. Scored the winner, his fourth goal of the season, when he headed in Mandeville's cross. Photo: Tina Jenner
