5. Nathan Smith
Nathan Smith turned down a new deal with Yeovil to join Chesterfield for the start of the 2011/12 campaign. It proved a good move with Smith being named player of the year for the 2012/13 season. But he was blighted by injuries and played just 12 League games in Chesterfield's League 2 Championship season. Photo: Trevor Price

6. Franck Moussa
Franck Moussa joined Chesterfield on loan until the end of the 2011/12 season on 16 March 2012 and was part of the team which won the JPT at Wembley. He played 10 times and scored four goals for Spireites. Photo: Marisa Cashill

7. Tope Obadeyi
Tope Obadeyi was yet another loanee this season. The winger joined from Bolton on 8th November and made his debut the next day in a 4-3 win over Tranmere in the JPT. He played six times before returning to the Reebok Stadium. Photo: Tina Jenner
