Recap: Kabongo Tshimanga double against King's Lynn Town secures third successive win for Chesterfield
Just 48 hours after beating Wealdstone 2-0 on Saturday, the Spireites make the trip to Norfolk to take on the Linnets, who came from behind to win away at Yeovil Town at the weekend.
James Rowe’s men have recorded back-to-back wins and clean sheets so far this season.

For the hosts again. Clunan gets played in behind Maguire, he squares to Denton but the cross just evades him. It would have been a tap-in had he made it. Denton claims he was dragged back and wants a penalty but his appeals are waved away.

Loach doesn’t connect well with a back-pass from Gunning, the Linnets drive forward and the ball is pulled back from the right to Clunan wo is free near the penalty spot, he shoots first time but Loach makes up for his earlier mistake with a top save.

Are getting a lot of joy down the left with Maguire and Miller this half.
The Spireites are not settling for two, they are pushing for a third but need to be careful not to let the hosts back into it.

A wonderful patient move sees Mandeville put Miller in down the left. He delivers for Carline who steams in at the back post but his header is tipped over by Jones.
Just before that Loach saved a header from Coleman.

Chesterfield lead 2-0 in the first minute of the second-half. Maguire picks out Carline with a cross to the far post and he heads it back across goal and Tshimanga pokes in for his second of the game.

Lynn have had some nice spells of possession but the Spireites once again are protecting Loach well and have had a couple of promising moments on the break.
Gunning has been my standout player for the Blues so far.
