OYELEKE!!!

Chesterfield lead 1-0. Carline came closing to scoring first with a header but Yeovil goalkeeoer Smith saved. Town kept it alive and Oyeleke got a shot off from inside the area, it smacked the post and I think it then hit former Spireite Smith and went in!

A threatening attack down the right sees a cross cut-out by Weston and cleared for a corner.

The hosts are then awarded a free-kick about 20-yards out for a handball against Payne who blocked a shot. Gorman takes the free-kick but it hits the wall and goes behind for a corner.

From the resulting corner, Loach drops the ball and the ball is turned into the net but it is ruled out fo a foul on the Town goalkeeper.

On target from Chesterfield’s Miller. Oyeleke swept the ball first time out to the left, Miller collected it and ran towards the edge of the box, he cut inside and tried his luck but Smith was equal to it. 10 minutes gone, 0-0.

Chesterfield won their first corner of the game when a Yeovil defender misjudged a ball down the left channel by Gunning. Payne was running in behind but the hosts cleared it behind for a corner. Unfortunately Mandeville’s delivery was cleared at the near post.

Gunning has just received a bang to the head and has been receiving some treatment but he is back to his feet now.

We are underway here at Huish Park.

Yeovil are in green and white, while Chesterfield are wearing all blue.

The Spireites have opted to switch Yeovil around so they are kicking towards their home fans in this half.
