HT: Wrexham 0 v 1 Chesterfield

A brilliant first 45 minutes from the Spireites. If Tshimanga’s penalty had been scored 0-2 would not have flattered them. Boos for the home team at the break.

Lainton dived to his left and saved it. Could be a turning point, that.

Are becoming very frustrated at Wrexham’s ability to muster up any meaningful attacks. They keep giving the ball away.

34 gone, 0-1.

Another chance for Tshimanga

The striker charged into the box and managed to get a shot off which Lainton tipped wide for a corner. James Rowe and the Town players felt Tshimanga was fouled as he got his shot off but the referee waves away the appeals.

You won’t be shocked to hear Gunning has been immense.

Kellermann wins a header about 25 yards out, the ball runs through to Tshimanga, he turns and shoots at goal inside the box but Lainton tips it wide.
