FT: Chesterfield 1 v 2 Stockport County
Another late defeat as Alex Reid's 85th minute wins it.
A battling display from Town. It was an action-packed game. Blues certainly did not disgrace themselves. But it’s another late goal conceded and another loss.
Mandeville plays the ball out wide to Cropper who crosses first time on the volley and there was a couple of Town players sliding in but they could not connect.
Connor Jennings is clattered off the ball, but the referee waves play on. Stoppage in play at the moment.
Denton heads at goal from Cropper’s cross. Straight at Hinchliffe.

Our fan writers say:
Jack: “Reid looked offside there so unfortunate don’t deserve to be behind.”
Ben: “Sickening. Heroic defending from the Spireites, two goal-line blocks, but it just kept falling from Stockport, and Reid eventually turned it home. Potentially offside, but incredibly hard for the officials to spot to be fair. Could’ve been avoided if Tyson had cleared the ball initially, but beyond that again largely out of Chesterfield’s control, and they find themselves behind once again. Really unfortunate.”
OFF THE LINE
Cropper heads off the line. Almost 1-3.
