Recap: Chesterfield held to goalless draw by rock-bottom Dover Athletic

For the hosts. A fierce strike comes in from about 25 yards, McCourt blocks it, the hosts claim for a handball but the referee waves the appeals away. McCourt drops to the ground as if he was winded. 19 gone, 0-0.
Good move
Maguire plays a diagonal ball in the air to Carline at the back stick, he plays it first time into the path of Rowe who looked to be readying a strike but he picked out Mandeville instead. He tried an overhead kick but the ref gives a free-kick against him. 15 played, 0-0.
Hosts go close
Scott Loach is called into action twice in a minute. First from a Cosgrove long-range shot which he parried and Gunning did well to react first and clear. Then a cross which almost caught him out but he did well to tip it behind for a corner. 10 gone, 0-0.
Early corners
Chesterfield won an early corner, McCourt dragged the delivery back towards the penalty spot where Tshimanga made a run but he didn’t quite connect with it.
