Looks like a back four for Chesterfield. Maguire left-back. Miller playing more advanced. Kellermann and Whelan holding in midfied.

Eight gone, 0-0. Decent start from the visitors.

For Chesterfield, the first of the game.

King’s cross from the right is not cleared and it lands to Mandeville, who blazes wide from inside the area. Good chance, that.

Chesterfield are wearing all red, while the hosts are in all blue.

The Spireites have turned Halifax around so both teams are kicking towards their own fans in the first-half.

The referee blows his whistle!

Here come the teams!

The Spireites are three wins from promotion.

COYB!

Neither Chesterfield or Halifax have a sub goalkeeper on the bench. Reading between the lines, it sounded like in an ideal world Paul Cook would have liked to have selected one but there’s a bigger risk of one of the starting players having to come off injured, which has been the case for a few games now.

Chesterfield team news confirmed

We are not sure whether it is a three or a four-man defence. We will see.

Booked their place in the semi-finals last night with a dramatic late extra-time winner away at Notts County.

The Mariners equalised in the 90 minute of normal time to make it 1-1 before scoring a winner in the 120th minute to avoid penalties.

They now travel to Wrexham on Saturday in the semi-finals.
