Premier League champions Leicester set for Proact friendly?

The Derbyshire Times understands Leicester City’s visit could take place on 2nd August at the Proact.

Leicester are due in Stockholm a day later to face Barcelona, which suggests the game against Chesterfield wouldn’t feature first team stars like Jamie Vardy or Riyad Mahrez.

The Spireites have already confirmed a home game against Derby County, in what will act as a testimonial match for Shane Nicholson.

The first team’s away friendlies will take place at Matlock Town, Ilkeston and Buxton.
