Possibility of more transfer business at Chesterfield FC
The transfer deadline has passed with no arrivals or departures at Chesterfield FC, but there could still be movement to come.
It is understood there may be one or more announcements in the next 24 hours as manager Paul Cook and his staff look to make final adjustments to the first team squad.

Speaking after tonight’s 1-1 draw with Gillingham, assistant manager Danny Webb said: “There might have been a few conversations pre-game I would imagine among the hierarchy about certain individuals. If there is anything I am sure it will come out tonight or tomorrow.”
Chesterfield have made 11 signings this summer, with the latest, striker Louie Marsh, joining on a season-long loan from Sheffield United on Monday.
He showed some nice touches as a late substitute against the Gills.
There is also the possibility of someone leaving, especially experienced striker Will Grigg, who at the age of 35 could still command a full-time elsewhere given his know-how and ability.
Chesterfield have taken a modest four points from their opening four games in League Two but showed improvement against Gillingham despite letting slip the handed to them by Josh Koroma’s neat first-half finish.
Barnet are the visitors on Saturday.
