It is that time of the year when journalists, fans and pundits make themselves look a bit silly with their predictions...and now it is our turn!
We are all set for what could be the most competitive National League season yet.
Chesterfield will be up there, we think, but it’s going to be some ride.
Here’s how Liam Norcliffe thinks the table will look come May 15.

5. Bromley 5th
Managaer Andy Woodman made Bromley very difficult to beat as they surged into the play-offs last season following his appointment in March. I don't think they will lose many games and they will make the top seven again. Photo: James Chance
They may take a bit of time to adjust to life in the National League but with an experienced manager in Phil Brown and a regular goalscorer at this level in Rhys Murphy, I think they'll get in the play-offs. Photo: Stu Forster
The Moors have made a shrewd appointment in Neal Ardley, who lost in the play-off final with Notts County two years ago. They've recently brought in striker Andy Dallas from Cambridge United, who scored 12 goals in 25 appearances for a struggling Weymouth side. I'm backing them to sneak the last play-off spot. Daryl McMahon led the Daggers on a superb late run last season but they narrowly missed out on the play-offs. I wouldn't be surprised if they did make the top seven but I'm going to take a punt and say it will be a near-miss again. Photo: Jacques Feeney
