Here are our player ratings from the game….
5. Branden Horton 8
Probably in the best form of his short Town career. He was an outlet down the left all evening, putting in some dangerous crosses, one which almost led to an own goal and another which was eventually volleyed in by Naylor. He was dominant, aggressive and strong in his defending. His performances have gone up some levels recently. Photo: Alex Livesey
6. Mike Jones 8
When Jones starts, Chesterfield win, that's an incredible 10 from 10 this season. His passing was sharp, he consistently made himself available for a team-mate and was contantly on the move. He snuffed out danger with one sliding tackle in the first 45, and he even had a shot! Photo: Tina Jenner
7. Tom Naylor 8
Bagged his seventh goal of the season with an accurate long-range volley which made it 2-0. Worked hard, battled well throughout and helped Town get a grip of the game. Photo: Tina Jenner
8. Michael Jacobs 6
A couple of shots on target - one in each half - but I thought he found it hard to get into this game. Still, wasn't a bad showing by any means. Off on 76. Photo: Tina Jenner
