National League transfers round-up: Notts County sign Portugese midfielder, Dagenham and Redbridge add prolific striker and Hartlepool United snap up 'assist king'

Transfer activity in the National League is hotting up and although Chesterfield are yet to add to their squad that is expected to change in the upcoming weeks.

Here are the latest moves to have taken place:

Notts County

Portugese attacking midfielder Ruben Rodrigues, 24, has joined from Dutch second tier side, Den Bosch, after scoring 12 goals and claiming 10 assists last season.

He is County’s first ever Portugese player.

Meanwhile, midfielder Michael Doyle has signed a new contract with the club.

Dagenham and Redbridge

Have signed striker Paul McCallum, 27, on a three-year contract from Solihull Moors.

The forward scored 11 goals for Solihull last season, before adding four more in five games while on loan at Barnet, including one in the play-off semi-final against Yeovil Town.

Striker Mason Bloomfield, 23, has joined from Norwich City on a permanent deal. He was on loan at Crawley Town last season and scored four goals in 24 games.

Full-back David Ferguson, 26, who registered 16 assists for York City last season, has been brought in on a free transfer.

Sutton United

Australian goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis, 29, has joined after four years at Melbourne City.

They’ve also added striker Tobi Sho-Silva, 25, from FC Halifax Town, where he scored eight goals in 30 games last season.

Solihull Moors

Left-back Jordan Cranston, 27, has joined from League Two Morecambe on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
