Matlock Town move to clarify future of striker Callum Dolan
Matlock Town striker Callum Dolan will be staying with the Gladiators for at least the immediate future.
Matlock announced earlier today that Dolan had been released but the former Radcliffe man will continue to be registered at Matlock for at least the time being.
“I think one or two people have got their wires crossed, Callum is still a Matlock player and we haven’t sanctioned his release” confirmed Gladiators Chairman Bryn Apperley.
Manager Paul Phillips had earlier stated on a Matlock Town podcast that Dolan would be leaving and he had granted Dolan consent to have trials at National League outfit Stockport County.
