Chesterfield boss Martin Allen strengthened his squad late on Friday with the addition of a keeper.
Callum Burton, 22, has joined on loan from Chsmpionship side Hull City until 16th January.
According to the Tigers’ website, the keeper “could be in line for his Spireites debut in Saturday’s home game against Barnet.”
The Tigers said the loan would see Burton “gain further first-team experience.”
Chesterfield’s keeper for all five National League matches this season has been Shwan Jalal, who was part of the Macclesfield side that won promotion back to the Football League last season.
Burton joined Hull from Shrewsbury Town just over 12 months ago, and the former England youth international was a regular for Hull City’s U23 side last season.
