Tyson, who signed in August after an impressive loan spell in the second half of last season, was initially named in the starting line-up for the friendly against Belper Town but was replaced by young striker Luke Rawson before kick-off.

Pemberton said: “To be fair we have worked really hard and he (Tyson) has done all of the work and he just feels a bit tight and I said if you feel that way then don’t play. He wanted to play but he’s been a bit tight for a few days now so there was no point in risking him and making anything worse but I’m sure he will be fine.”

Curtis Weston was another absentee but Pemberton is hopeful of a quick return.

“He has had a slight calf strain,” Pemberton said. “He has missed a few days. Hopefully he will be back next week.”

Haydn Hollis sat the game out due to a “slight bang to the chest” but again Pemberton expects him to be fine.

He added: “We don't need to force anybody in these kinds of games.”

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Luke Coddington is likely to be out for another two months with a knee injury sustained last season.

But there was some good news for Laurence Maguire who played 60 minutes against the Nailers after a long spell on the sidelines.
