“It is the FA Trophy and you have got a chance of getting to Wembley,” he said. “It is a great competition. Our opponents won it three years ago so it underlines the challenge we have got ahead. We won’t underestimate them and it is a competition we want to do the best we can. The FA Trophy is an important competition but first and foremost I think our league position is number one this year.”
Overall, with three wins and a draw from his first four games, Rowe has got off to a good start and is enjoying his time in charge so far.
He added: “I have loved it, it is where I want to be. I have got a quick affinity with the club.

I think we have done better than anyone could have expected but with that we can’t be wild with our expectations now. I said we are going to have some adversity at some point, you learn more about people when that comes.”
