"I want to give something back" - Why John Pemberton has arranged Q&A with Chesterfield fans
John Pemberton’s aim to re-establish the connection between Spireites supporters and the club will take another step forward on Wednesday.
The Blues caretaker manager, who came up with the idea, is to take questions from a small group of fans via video link at 10.30am.
If it proves to be a success then there are plans to continue it and involve the players.
“The supporters have been great with me and I want to try and give something back to them if I can,” Pemberton told the DT. “I want to try and keep them involved and keep them in the loop.
“They can ask me questions and I will try to be as honest as I can in answering them.”
Pemberton has made no secret of his desire to rebuild the connection between the fans and club and players since he took over from John Sheridan in January.
He added: “I want to try and give them as much information as we can of where we are and what we have been doing.
“I want the connection with the supporters back with the club.
“It is something that I am happy to do.”
“What I am hoping for is that it will give me more feedback from a supporter-side of things.”
If you would like to be involved, email [email protected] As places will be strictly limited to keep it to a small, manageable group size, they will be available on a first come, first served basis.
