It was a battle for most of the 90 minutes but the Blues stood up to Boreham’s physicality and had the best two chances of the game.
The vistors finished strong but created little from open play.
The point extends their unbeaten run to six games and moved them up a place in the National League table to fifth.
Here are Liam Norcliffe’s player ratings from the game...

. Grant Smith 7
This was his ninth clean sheet in 13 games. He did not have much to do in terms of saves, but made one decent stop at his near post in the second-half from Keiran Murtagh. He picked out Carline with some accurate kicks in the first-half. Photo: Dean Atkins
. George Carline 8
A lot of Chesterfield's attacks in the first-half started with him winning the ball in the air from Smith's goal-kicks and he won pretty much every aerial duel. He had a good battle against the pacey Corey Whitely and overall I think he came out on top. A really good showing. Photo: Dean Atkins
. Fraser Kerr 7
A solid performance. His positional sense was very good and, as always, he was strong in the air. He had a good chance to score in the first-half when Gunning's free-kick dropped to him about eight yards out but he stabbed it wide. Town have recorded seven clean sheets from the nine games he has started since he signed. Photo: Craig Brough/AHPIX LTD

My man of the match, just edging out Carline and Whittle. He was calm and composed on the ball, won all his headers and did not give Tshimanga a kick. A top peformance. Photo: Craig Brough/AHPIX LTD
