Tyson pounced for the equalsier with 15 minutes to go before Whelan struck the winner 60 seconds later.
Sonny Carey’s free-kick has given the Linnets the lead in the first-half.
The win is Town's fifth in a row and cements their position in sixth in the National League.

He looked threatening early on, dipped a bit and then came back strong again. Powered a free-kick over the bar in the first-half. He might have done better with a chance when well positioned 12 yards out centrally after the break. Another game without a goal. Photo: jason chadwick
