Here are our player ratings from the game...
5. Jamie Grimes 7
The skipper spent time at Loughborough University in the summer working on his sprinting and this season has proved it was money well spent. It helped him snuff out danger a couple of times in this clash, including making a last-ditch challenge when Greenslade was about to pull the trigger. Photo: Catherine Ivill
6. Branden Horton 6
So-so. Some sloppiness here and there, went through the motions a bit, but he was okay. Photo: jason chadwick
7. Mike Jones 7
Mike Jones did what Mike Jones does. He battled, fought, scrapped, tackled, passed...and he wasn't off far from scoring again. After one goal in more than three years, two goals in two games would have been some story, but it wasn't to be. Photo: Tina Jenner
8. Tom Naylor 8
A goal and an assist makes him my man of the match even if he did almost gift Oxford a goal. His flicked header from Mandeville's corner allowed Grigg to make it 1-0. Naylor then made it 2-0 himself, squeezing the ball home from a tight angle. That's 13 for the season him. As the song goes, 'he's Paul Cook's man, he's better than Zidane.' Photo: jason chadwick
