5. Akwasi Asante (Netherlands)
One of the current crop - Dutchman Asante moved to the UK aged 13 and has enjoyed a good career in non-league, including playing a key role in Spireites' current promotion charge.

6. Marton Fulop (Hungary)
Fulop played seven games on loan from Spurs in 2005, going on to feature for Sunderland, Coventry and Ipswich. He sadly passed away after a battle with cancer aged 32.

7. Thomas Hitzlsperger (Germany)
Hitzlsperger enjoyed a long career in England and Germany, also gaining 52 international caps, but spent a short while with Chesterfield at the very start of his career, on loan from Aston Villa.

8. Seb Grimaldi (France)
Grimaldi came to Chesterfield in 2007 after a good career in France and Belgium and played 12 games before injury cut his time in Derbyshire short. He retired three years later.
