Former Chesterfield striker Adi Yussuf signs for National League club

The 29-year-old joined the Spireites on loan, with an option to buy, from Blackpool last season in February.
But the forward failed to nail down a regular place in the team, scoring twice in 10 starts.

Hide AdYussuf has now joined the Glovers on a free transfer following his release by the Tangerines.


He links up with another ex-Spireite, Grant Smith, at Huish Park.
On signing for Yeovil, Yussuf said: “I’m really excited, I can’t wait to play in front of all the fans.
“We’ve got a good squad here that should be competing so I’m looking forward to it.

When asked about how he would describe himself as a player, Yussuf added: “I like to score goals, put myself about and work hard.”
