Football rumour round-up: Manchester United’s £30m bid for Lazio star, Premier clubs line up for QPR’s Charlie Austin

There are seemingly very few stars of world football that Manchester United are not looking at, if transfer gossip is to be believed.

The latest in a long line of players to be linked to the Old Trafford side is Felipe Anderson of Lazio.

Twenty-two-year-old Anderson, a Brazilian attacking midfielder, will be the subject of a £30m bid.

Charlie Austin is a wanted man, according to the London Evening Standard.

West Ham, Newcastle United and Southampton want the 25-year-old striker, as relegated QPR attempt to cash in on his Premier League goalscoring exploits.

The Daily Star reckon that Everton are lining up a move for Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski.

Liverpool could land themselves another Southampton ace, if their improved bid for defender Nathaniel Clyne goes down well with the Saints – so says The Mirror.

And on the managerial front, The Daily Mail says Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will pen a new £30m deal for four years at Stamford Bridge.
