Chesterfield were involved in one of only three games in the EFL to serve up six goals at the weekend.

Stevenage walloped Barnsley 5-1 on their own patch and Wycombe let slip a 2-0 lead to finish 3-3 with MK Dons in League One.

But for a real roller coaster of a contest the one at the SMH topped the lot, Paul Cook’s side springing back off the ropes three times to level against Barnet and very nearly winning it at the death before ending 3-3.

A point wasn’t what was needed after a slow start in League Two but given the entertainment on offer there weren’t many grumbles at full time from the home supporters.
