Chesterfield fans express shock as manager James Rowe is suspended

Chesterfield fans have been expressing their shock at the news manager James Rowe has been suspended over misconduct allegations.

The Spireites said they will be making no further comment until an investigation has taken place.

Rowe was appointed manager in November 2020 after moving from Gloucester City.

First-team coach Danny Webb will take charge for now.

The Blues are currently top of the National League at the halfway stage of the season.
