Excited Chesterfield fans queue for tickets for last home match of season against Dagenham and Redbridge after year away
Spireites fans braved the wind and the rain to get their hands on tickets for Chesterfield’s final home match of the season against Dagenham and Redbridge.
After a year of not being able to attend games because of the pandemic, Town supporters will be allowed back into the Technique Stadium on May 22.
Tickets for the Daggers went on sale on Monday morning to existing season ticket holders from last season and people who have already bought season tickets for the 2021/2022 campaign.
The club hope to be able to welcome back 3,000 fans for the big clash as the Blues aim to qualify for the National League play-offs and have a shot at promotion back to the Football League after three years away.
The number of supporters allowed in the Technique will be decided by the Safety Advisory Group (SAG).
A maximum of three people who are in a support bubble/social bubble will be able to be seated together. Similarly, two people who are also in a support bubble/social bubble will be able to be seated together.
Tickets are priced at £20 and £10 for those aged 16 and under.
People will be asked to observe social distancing and wear a face mask at all times during the stadium.
Other rules include avoiding hugs, high-fives and any close contact with people who are not in your bubble and to take extreme care when shouting, singing or celebrating.
Failure to comply will lead to a ticket holder being banned whilst COVID-19 restrictions are in place and may lead to the club not being allowed to admit spectators to future matches.
