The 56-year-old, now retired, refereed in the Premier League from 1999 to 2013 and took charge of the 2008 League cup final between Spurs and Chelsea.
He confirmed his appointment for the game at the Proact on 25th July, tweeting: “Looking forward to officiating @TLTestimonial @ChesterfieldFC come down and support a legend of @ChesterfieldFC.”
The game will kick off at 7pm and recently retired keeper Lee is expected to play some part against a Wigan side managed by former Town boss Paul Cook.
