Ex-Nottingham Forest and Notts County striker Craig Westcarr leaves Chesterfield
Craig Westcarr has left Chesterfield after an agreement was reached to terminate his contract.
The 27-year-old joined the club from Notts County in August 2011 recently completed a spell on loan at Walsall.
The much-travelled striker began his career with Nottingham Forest before his release from the Championship club in 2005.
Westcarr will be fondly remembered after he scored the second goal in Chesterfield’s 2-0 victory over Swindon Town in last season’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final at Wembley.
