Currie cooks up a double for Town
There were three changes from the previous week with Ross Eckhardt, Josh Gibson and Luke Johnson all coming into the side.
The game got off to the worst possible start for Shirebrook as they fell behind in the second minute when Dean parried a shot into the path of Daniel Gray who gave the visitors the lead.

Hide AdThings got even worse for Shirebrook in the tenth minute when they were forced to use their only sub on the day as Shepherd went off with a hamstring injury and he was replaced by Ingram who came on to make his debut.
Shirebrook began to get into the game and got back on level terms in the 19th minute when the Selby keeper parried a shot into the path of Jake Currie and he made no mistake.
Only a minute later Shirebrook took the lead when Currie got on the end of an Ord cross to complete the turnaround, Shirebrook holding the lead until the break.
The visitors came out looking like a different team at the start of the second half but Dean was there to pull off a number of saves and it looked like Shirebrook had been handed the perfect opportunity to finish the game when Currie was brought to the ground in the box and the ref was left with no option but to point to the spot.

Hide AdCurrie picked himself up to take the penalty but saw his spot kick saved.
Shirebrook did finally wrap up the game in the 86th minute when Cardwell released Liam Greenfield down the right and he unleashed a shot from the edge of the box that found the top corner.
Shirebrook had the opportunity to get a fourth in injury-time but Cardwell saw his header hit the post.
Shirebrook are back in action next Saturday when they visit Eccleshill United for a 3pm kick-off.
