Clay Cross come from behind to beat Newark
It was Newark who started the stronger though and scored twice in the first nine minutes, with two well-struck shots coming from the boot of ex-Aston Villa striker Julian Joachim.
It wasn’t until after the break that Clay Cross finally took a grip of the game and a well-deserved goal was secured by Lee Clay on 63 minutes to give the Millers a welcome lifeline.

The next goal proved to be crucial as to the way the game would unfold and it came once again from man of the match Lee Clay to pull the score level.
The Millers from there on had the upper-hand and on 75 minutes came what proved to be the decisive strike of the afternoon when Aiden Ordidge’s composure in front of goal allowed him to slot the ball out of the reach of the stranded goalkeeper Nathan Burrows.
Elsewhere, leaders FC Bolsover got back to winning ways with a 4-0 win at Askern.

Josh Thomas added a fourth to keep the Derbyshire side in top spot a point clear of Appleby Frodingham.
The handicap of going down to ten men twenty minutes into the game proved too much for Dronfield Town Reserves as they went down 4-0 at Retford whose goals came from Ollie Chappell, Gareth Davies, a Jermaine Gordon penalty and Lee Smith.
