Here are Liam Norcliffe’s player ratings from the game…
![One of his best all-round performances for Chesterfield. He was impressive in his defending and attacking. Had a good chance to score in the first 45. A man of the match contender.](https://www.derbyshiretimes.co.uk/webimg/b25lY21zOmVmN2E0MjE0LTA3YmMtNDg0Zi1iODg2LTAyOTU3YjAxZWIwYToxZjJjMzA0ZS1hYTliLTQ4NDMtYjY4NS0yODNjODViNjVhNTQ=.jpg?crop=3:2&width=669)

![Another man of the match contender for me. He put himself about in the middle of park. He used the ball well and battled hard. One fair, but crunching tackle on the halfway line to stop a counter before half-time got deserved applause. Not far off a complete performance.](https://www.derbyshiretimes.co.uk/webimg/b25lY21zOjhmMzk4NmYyLWQwY2MtNDc0Ni1iOWEwLTdjODBmMjc0MDQ1NDowMjE0NmM4Ni1mNDc1LTRjNjMtOGZhNi0yMWU4MDU1NTJjYmM=.jpg?crop=3:2&width=800)

![A classy return for Oldaker, who made his first start of the season. I don't think he hardly gave the ball away and he did the ugly side of the game well too. He took his chance.](https://www.derbyshiretimes.co.uk/webimg/b25lY21zOjUyODg1MTQ0LWQ0MDktNDdkOS1hMjFiLTE1MDNiNzc2ZTQ2YTo3ZGU3OGZiMy0wM2U1LTQ1ZTQtYTRlNC1lMWU0YTgzNTVmOGE=.jpg?crop=3:2&width=640)

![A little bit quiet in the first-half, once or twice he was nudged off the ball. But he came to life after the break, finding space in the pockets behind Oldham's midfield while also working his socks off. Also provided the assist for the goal with his corner delivery.](https://www.derbyshiretimes.co.uk/webimg/b25lY21zOjFjMDcwOGJiLTZiYmUtNDc0ZC1hOGMzLWFhMjBmNmY0MGI1YjozYjBjNzM5NC1lYWM2LTRkOTUtOTkyNi0zN2Q3NDcwYzdiMjY=.jpg?crop=3:2&width=800)
