Chesterfield set to put tickets on sale for Dagenham and Redbridge clash after a year without fans
It is the news we have all been waiting for!
After more than a year without fans inside the Technique Stadium, tickets for Chesterfield’s last home game of the regular season will go on sale next month.
The club is hoping to have 3,000 supporters in attendance for the Dagenham and Redbridge clash on May 22.
Tickets will go on sale on May 4 to existing and new season ticket holders. Any remaining tickets, available to season ticket holders only, will go on general sale on May 17.
The Spireites said in a statement: “Owing to the strict safety measures in place as a result of the pandemic, and in consultation with the SAG (Safety Advisory Group), a maximum of three people who are in a support bubble/social bubble will be able to be seated together. Similarly, two people who are also in a support bubble/social bubble will be able to be seated together.
“We are hoping to receive approval from the SAG for approximately 3,000 spectators, plus wheelchair users and their carers, with a bubble of three the first to go on sale, followed by a bubble of two and then single seats.”
People will be asked to observe social distancing and wear a face mask at all times during the stadium.
Other rules include avoiding hugs, high-fives and any close contact with people who are not in your bubble and to take extreme care when shouting, singing or celebrating.
Failure to comply will lead to a ticket holder being banned whilst COVID-19 restrictions are in place and may lead to the club not being allowed to admit spectators to future matches.
