“I’m delighted to have got the deal sorted,” Rowley said.
“I have been at the club for eight years after coming through the academy. It means everything to me and I want to be successful with Chesterfield.”
Manager James Rowe spoke highly of the midfielder after he was forced off during the first half of Tuesday night’s goalless draw against Boreham Wood with a bad hamstring injury.
“I believe in him as a player,” Rowe said. “He has got a future here.”
