The midfielder came off with 10 minutes remaining in the defeat to Bromley on Saturday with a sore Achilles.

The 34-year-old has started every league game except one under manager James Rowe

Providing an update on Monday morning, Rowe said: “He is sore.

“We will have to see how he gets on in the next 24 hours.

“He is going to be sore for a little while so we have to manage it and make sure that when he is in the high risk zone during games that he comes off like he did the other day.”

Meanwhile, Gavin Gunning is expected to come back into the fold after missing out against the Ravens.

Rowe said the centre-back could not play three games in a week following a five-week lay-off with a hamstring injury but he should be back in contention against the Shaymen.
