Chesterfield come face to face with Select Group referee Lee Probert again this weekend.

The Premier League referee, who missed all of last season through injury, takes charge of the Spireites’ FA Cup first round game at League Two Colchester United.

Probert, 44, is yet to officiate at the top level since making his comeback at the start of the season.

He was last seen by Town at the Proact, when he refereed the game between Chesterfield and Millwall, with the Lions winning 3-1.

This season in his four League One games he’s issued just seven yellows, two of those going to Millwall players in that Proact clash.

And in League Two he’s refereed seven games, dishing out 10 yellows.

Find out who League One’s strictest referee is so far this season.

Probert will be assisted by Ian Fissenden and Steven Plane, with Darren Blunden the fourth official.
