Hide AdAs part of a Daily Telegraph investigation, Wright has been accused of accepting £5,000 during a series of meetings with a fake Far East firm.
The coach allegedly agreed to help sign players part-owned by the firm and took a bundle of £20 notes in an envelope.
Wright, 50, was suspended immediately after the allegation came to light last night.
He followed John Sheridan to the Proact to serve as his assistant in June 2009 and was made caretaker manager following the sacking of Sheridan on 27th August 2012.
