Chesterfield confirm signings of goalkeeper and midfielder to take summer additions to ten

The pair have joined on free transfers after impressing on trial during pre-season.

Goalkeeper Minter, 26, who was at Harrogate Town last season, will provide competition for Scott Loach for the number one spot.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity and looking forward to the next chapter,” Minter said.

Former Aldershot and St Mirren man, Kellermann, 25, who can play in midfield and defence, has immediately joined Tamworth on loan for an initial 28 days to get some game time. He will continue to train with the Spireites.

“I’m delighted to get it done and I’m grateful for the opportuniity I’ve been given,” Kellermann said.

“I think once I can get to a level I’m happy with, I can push the boys who are starting every week and get into the team.”

The duo become manager James Rowe’s ninth and tenth summer signings.
