Wingerworth-based Technique Learning Solutions, who also sponsor the Blues’ kit, has snapped up the naming rights to the stadium.

Spireites commercial manager, Jim Brown, said: “I would like to thank Technique Learning Solutions for their valuable ongoing support, which is very much appreciated. We were delighted to welcome them as shirt sponsors last year and it is very pleasing to see their name also attached to the stadium.

“As we welcome new sponsors of the stadium name, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Proact for their valued support over the last decade.”

Chesterfield's home has been renamed as the Technique Stadium.

While Mark Crook, managing director of Technique Learning Solutions, said: “As soon as we were aware of the chance to secure the naming stadium rights, we were keen to seize it as it will provide us with further opportunities to raise our profile and make people aware of what we do."

Town moved into their new home for the 2010/11 season and it was named the B2net Stadium before becoming the Proact Stadium in 2012.

Technique was formed in 2011 and has headquarters in Wingerworth. It is a nationwide training company offering courses in electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration and programmable logic controllers.

Meanwhile, the club is looking at introducing a cashless system at the stadium next season.

Spireites company secretary, Ashley Carson, said: “With the contactless limit also increasing to £45, there are many other benefits apart from just hygiene and many other stadiums are moving this way.”
