Here are our player ratings from the game...
5. Branden Horton 5
With Bailey Clements out injured Horton started at left-back. He has performed well in pre-season but it wasn't his day. He was caught out positionally frequently with balls in behind him. Showed some spirit and character to keep plugging away towards the end, though. Photo: Alex Livesey
6. Tom Naylor 6
Neat and tidy in possession on his competitive debut. Would have liked to have seen a bit more aggression from him out of possession, but that's just my view. Photo: Tina Jenner
7. Ollie Banks 7
Started bright and zipped the ball about with some lovely first-time passes and balls down the side of Dorking. Went a bit missing in the middle part of the game but provided the assist for the winner with an accurate cross for Quigley to head home. Photo: Tina Jenner
8. Liam Mandeville 8
Two goals to start the new season. One a tap-in to make it 2-2 before curling in a sublime free-kick to make it 3-2. But it wasn't just his goals that impressed. He was flexible in his positioning, floating across all three attacking spots and carrying the ball forward, which caught the eye. Might feel he should have had a hat-trick after blasting over a good chance in the first-half. Photo: Tina Jenner
